Building 2 is part of the Johnson Controls Glendale Campus Expansion Project. The 59,785 sf single-story office building is seeking LEED-NC Platinum certification. When complete the building will have 59,785 sf of office area and 4,634 sf of storage space and will feature a 14,355 sf Photovoltaic Array laminated to the roof. Solar generation will produce the electricity needed in Building 2, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 1.1 million lb/yr and NOx emissions by 2000 lb/yr.

In addition to the features of this building, the Campus Expansion as a whole has already diverted over 89% of the construction and demolition waste from the landfill.
