Building 3 is part of the Johnson Controls Glendale Campus Expansion Project. The 68,830 sf single-story office building is seeking LEED-NC Platinum certification. Locally harvested and manufactured materials account for more than 25% of the entire campuses project materials, including drywall, concrete, steel and stone. Building 3, as well as the rest of the campus, maintained a 20% goal of participation by women and minority-owned contractors.

In addition to the features of this building, the Campus Expansion as a whole has already diverted over 89% of the construction and demolition waste from the landfill.
