Summary: LEED Rating: FIRST LEED-CI Platinum project in WI, 8th in the USA and 9th in the World

Hunzinger Construction Company, the Design-Builder and owner of this project, recently took advantage of an adjacent property, the former Palmert Building, to expand its facilities. The property has expanded Hunzinger's yard, warehouse, office and training space.

The new facility houses private office space, conference room, large open office area, secure storage, skylight and restrooms.

Sustainable aspects include

1) Dual flush toilets and a waterless urinal.
2) High Efficiency HVAC unit
3) Energy efficient lighting
4) Locally manufactured furnishings with high recycled content
5) Exposed deck in office with direct/indirect lighting
6) Motion activated lighting
7) Low VOC paints
8) Recycled carpeting and wainscoting made of rapidly renewable wood
